POH Section 2.17 Weight and Balance and 1 (fuel quantity); Section 6 (G3-8 MA FM 9406 - R01) 6.2 Station Definitions, 6.5 Operating Weights and Loading, 6.6 Weight and Balance Chart, 6.7 CG Range and Determination, 6.8 Calculation Example (pages 102-115 of gxis__poh__104714-rev01-2017-12.pdf) · version type
- Station table in 6.2 gives arms in mm (seats 210 mm, baggage 950 mm, fuel 960 mm); the calculation table in 6.7 uses inches (8.3, 37.4, 37.8 in). Inch values used here.
- The W&B chart's vertical axis is labeled [kg] but shows 1,320, matching the 1,320 lb MTOW in 6.5; treated as lb.
- Envelope is a simple rectangle: CG 9.6 to 16.3 in at all weights (6.5, 2.17). The lower bound is the printed minimum airborne weight of 880 lb: with the example's 670 lb empty weight, one 175 lb occupant and no fuel come to 845 lb, below it, so the zero-fuel point would be out of limits; the default load seats two occupants and carries 40 L.
- Fuel is entered in litres at the POH's 0.72 kg/L (6.8), which is 1.587 lb/L in the lb/in loading calculation. Tank 84 L total, 80 L usable (Section 1); 2.17 gives the maximum fuel as 133 lb (60.5 kg), the full 84 L.
- Baggage compartment maximum 66 lb (30 kg) (2.17); each side bin 4.4 lb (2 kg), not entered separately. 1 or 2 occupants; REMOS defines no pilot seat, so both seats share the 8.3 in station.
- Typical empty weight (670 lb at 12.5 in) is from the 6.8 calculation example only; the manual says not to use it for flight preparation. Use the individual aircraft weight and balance report.
- Equipment list (6.9) gives weights in kg and arms in m, unlike the lb/in loading calculation.
- Max landing and max zero fuel weights are not printed; CG must be checked at takeoff and at landing fuel.
- Read from the POH by ZuluCheck and checked by a second reading; verify against your own manual.
