POH Report 2210, Section 1 (1.11, 1.13), Section 2 (2.13), Section 6 Figures 6-5, 6-7, 6-13, 6-15 (cont), 6-19 and paragraphs 6.7-6.13 (pages 32-309 of pa-31t-cheyenne-ii__pim__761-703-report-2210-1979-scribd.pdf) · version type

  • Typical empty 5129 lb at 129.1 in is the basic airplane in the sample loading problem (Report 2210 Figure 6-11, p.6-11; includes full oil, operating fluids and unusable fuel). Enter your aircraft's own from its weighing report.
  • Maximum ramp weight 9050 lb (dotted outline on plotter: forward limit about 132.1 in, aft 138 in at 9050 lb; extra 50 lb is taxi fuel only).
  • Fuel: the arm comes from the Loading Chart fuel table (Fig. 6-15 cont, p. 6-14), 50 to 366 gal at 6.7 lb/gal: 132.8 in at 50 gal, 133.3 at 100, 135.4 at 150, 137.6 at 200, 138.5 at 250, 138.4 at 300, 138.3 in full (366 gal); the moment is interpolated between rows as the table is read, and below 50 gal the 50 gal arm is used. 8 gal unusable fuel (54 lb, 6804 in-lb) is in the basic empty weight.
  • Fuel density 6.7 lb/USG derived from the loading chart (335 lb per 50 gal). 366 gal is usable fuel; 8 gal (54 lb, arm 126) unusable is included in basic empty weight. Total tank volume not printed.
  • Envelope from visual plotter Fig. 6-19: forward limit 126 in at lower weights, curving to about 129 in near 8600 lb and 131.9 in at 9000 lb; aft limit 138 in. The forward-limit break weight (~7400 lb) and the 129 in point are read from a low-resolution chart; the forward limit is drawn as a curve - verify. 4800 lb lower bound is the chart bottom, not a stated limit.
  • Seats 3 and 4: arm 166 in forward-facing, 159 in when reversed.
  • Standard empty weight 5018 lb (approximate, Section 1.13) with no arm printed; use the aircraft's actual Weight and Balance Data Form (Fig. 6-7). Standard empty weight includes full oil, operating fluids and unusable fuel.
  • With 7-8 occupants, front baggage must be loaded to keep CG within the 138 in aft limit and fuel reduced; observe the 7200 lb zero fuel weight.
  • Read from the POH by ZuluCheck and checked by a second reading; verify against your own manual.

For reference only. The aircraft’s approved flight manual and weighing report are the final authority.
