Data source

POH JP-FM-11 Section 6, Table 6.4 (Centre of Gravity Limits), Figures 6.3.1, 6.3b and 6.3c, para 6.3 (pages 12-72 of j160-d__poh__jp-fm-11-rev-2.pdf) · version type

  • CG limits from Table 6.4: forward 180 mm aft of datum up to and including 440 kg, 233 mm at 540 kg (linear between), aft 292 mm at all weights.
  • MTOW 540 kg taken from the forward-limit table and trim-sheet envelope bottom; no explicit maximum takeoff/landing/zero fuel weight statement on these pages.
  • The envelope's lower mass of 250 kg is the top edge of the trim-sheet chart (Fig 6.3b), not a stated minimum weight.
  • Trim sheet is drawn in index units (moment/1000); envelope vertices taken from Table 6.4 and cross-checked against chart.
  • Fuel tank capacities, usable fuel, fuel density, baggage maximum and seat limits are not given on these pages - check Section 2 limitations.
  • Weighing form lists unusable fuel (header tank) 4 kg at arm 304 mm, which differs from the 840 mm header tank fuel station arm in Table 6.4 - verify.
  • Typical empty is the manual's example trim index calculation (275 kg at 180 mm), not an actual aircraft's empty weight; use the aircraft's own weighing record.
  • Baggage must not be loaded above the tops of the seat backs.
  • Read from the POH by ZuluCheck and checked by a second reading; verify against your own manual.

For reference only. The aircraft’s approved flight manual and weighing report are the final authority.
