Data source

POH JP-FM-10 Section 6.1 Table 6.4, Figure 6.3.1, Section 6.2 Figures 6-3a and 6.3b (trim sheets) (pages 10-55 of j120-c__poh__jp-fm-10-rev-2.pdf) · version type

  • CG limits from Table 6.4: forward 1601 mm (20% MAC) up to and including 420 kg, 1661 mm (26.1% MAC) at 500 kg, linear between; aft 1695 mm (29.5% MAC) at all weights.
  • MTOW 500 kg is taken from the top of the CG envelope (forward limit point and trim sheet envelope at 500 kg); no explicit maximum take-off weight statement on these pages - verify in Section 2 limitations.
  • Table 6.4 prints '500kg (1190lb)' - the lb conversion appears inconsistent (500 kg = 1102 lb); kg values used.
  • Envelope lower mass of 250 kg is only the top of the trim sheet chart scale, not a printed minimum weight.
  • Trim sheet envelope is in index units = weight x (arm - 1403)/1000; its vertices (~83 at 420 kg, ~129 and ~146 at 500 kg) agree with Table 6.4 arms.
  • Fuel tank capacity, usable fuel, fuel density, baggage maximum and seat maximums are not given on these pages - check the placards and Section 2.
  • Baggage must be stowed beside the fuel tank only and not above the tops of the seat backs; restrained with straps.
  • typicalEmpty 260 kg at 1590 mm is the worked example aircraft in Section 6.2.2, not a specific aircraft - use your aircraft's Load Data Sheet.
  • Read from the POH by ZuluCheck and checked by a second reading; verify against your own manual.

For reference only. The aircraft’s approved flight manual and weighing report are the final authority.
