Data source

POH/AFM Report TC10000AFM Section 6, para 6.2, Table 6-3, Figure 6-4 and Table 6-4 (pages 129-143 of cc18-180-top-cub__afm__tc10000afm-rev-u.pdf) · version type

  • Fuel is two wing tanks of 25 USG each, 22 USG usable each (44 USG usable), per para 7.5.9 on page 7-11 (pdf page 155); allowable fuel loading is 50 USG total per para 2.14 on page 2-6 (pdf page 38). The 6 unusable gallons are in the standard empty weight. Fuel density is not printed; 6 lb/USG for 100/100LL Avgas is assumed.
  • Default load is pilot 175 lb, 20 lb in the forward cargo compartment and 30 USG fuel. The profile data matches the POH (Table 6-3 arms, para 6.2 limits, Figure 6-4 on page 6-14, pdf page 142); a lone 175 lb pilot with no fuel or cargo puts the sample empty aircraft at 70.1 in, ahead of the 70.5 in forward limit, so a little aft cargo is included in the default.
  • Minimum operating weight 1,300 lb (aircraft must not be operated below this); used as the lower edge of the envelope.
  • CG limits: 79.1-81.0 in at 2,300 lb; 70.5-81.0 in at 1,600 lb or less; straight-line variation between, per para 6.2 and Figure 6-4.
  • Seating is tandem: pilot at 71 in, passenger at 97 in.
  • Loading form and envelope are for land-based aircraft; float or other configurations may differ.
  • Different propellers and tires affect empty weight and balance; use the aircraft's actual basic empty weight from its records, not the sample (1,228 lb at 70 in).
  • No maximum landing or zero-fuel weight printed; maximum gross weight 2,300 lb.
  • Read from the POH by ZuluCheck and checked by a second reading; verify against your own manual.

For reference only. The aircraft’s approved flight manual and weighing report are the final authority.
