Data source

POH Section 2 Center of Gravity Limits (p. 2-13); Section 6 Figures 6-11 (Sheets 1-3), 6-12 and 6-18 (Center of Gravity Moment Envelope) (pages 53-382 of 208b-g1000__poh__208bphbus-01-rev1-2008.pdf) · version type

  • Typical empty 5005 lb at 185.69 in is the sample airplane's basic empty weight in the sample loading problem (Figure 6-16, p.6-49; includes unusable fuel and full oil). Enter your aircraft's own from its weighing report.
  • Envelope vertices taken from the printed CG limits (Section 2): forward 179.60 in at 5500 lb or less, straight line to 193.37 in at 8000 lb and 199.15 in at 8750 lb; aft 204.35 in at all weights. Lower edge 4000 lb is the bottom of the moment chart (Fig. 6-18), consistent with moment/1000 values read there.
  • Max landing weight 8500 lb read from Fig. 6-18 (solid takeoff-and-landing line ends ~8500 lb, dashed takeoff-only to 8750 lb); landing envelope forward point at 8500 lb (197.22 in) interpolated on the printed straight-line limit. Verify against Section 2 weight limits.
  • Maximum ramp weight and max zero fuel weight not on these pages.
  • Aft CG warning (shaded) area between 38.33% MAC (~203.0 in) and 40.33% MAC (204.35 in): use only with accurate CG determination.
  • Pilot/front passenger arm 135.5 in for seat locking pin at FS 145.0; occupant CG range 133.5-146.5 in.
  • Commuter seat arms are for standard placement (10-place: 173.9/209.9/245.9/281.9; 11-place: 173.9/209.9/245.9 with three seats per row in rows 2-3); actual seat locations must be used.
  • Cabin cargo zone and cargo pod zone arms are zone midpoints; maximum zone/compartment loadings (p. 6-22) not provided. Cargo pod is optional equipment.
  • MAC leading edge 177.57 in aft of datum, MAC 66.40 in.
  • Fuel from the Weight and Moment Table for jet fuel at 6.7 lb/gal at 60°F (Fig. 6-15 Sheet 4, p. 6-45): 332 gal usable; the arm varies with quantity, about 203.0 to 203.3 in, so 203.1 in is used throughout (within 0.4 in of the table at every quantity). Use the table and the fuel density correction in Section 6 for cold fuel.
  • Read from the POH by ZuluCheck; the fuel station was added by reading the POH's fuel weight and moment table by hand; verify against your own manual.

For reference only. The aircraft’s approved flight manual and weighing report are the final authority.
