Data source

POH Section 2 Weight Limits and Center of Gravity Limits (p. 2-8); Section 6, Figures 6-3, 6-4, 6-5, 6-8 and 6-9 (pages 22-206 of 206h-g1000-gfc700__poh__2007.pdf) · version type

  • Maximum ramp weight 3614 lb; 14 lb fuel allowance for start, taxi and runup.
  • Envelope from Section 2 text and Figure 6-9: forward limit 33.0 in at 2500 lb or less, straight line to 42.5 in at 3600 lb; aft limit 49.7 in at all weights. Lowest weight 1900 lb taken from the moment envelope (Figure 6-8, moment/1000 ~62.7 and ~94.4 at 1900 lb, consistent with 33.0 and 49.7 in); Figure 6-9 only plots down to 2200 lb.
  • Fuel: 87 USG usable standard; a reduced-fuel option of 64 USG usable is listed. Total tank capacity not printed on these pages. Usable fuel arm FS 46.5, 6 lb/gal.
  • Seat arms are for average occupant positions: pilot/front pax range FS 32-43, center FS 69-79, aft FS 94-100.
  • Baggage area FS 109-145 max 180 lb, arm 127 is the center of area D; the sample loading problem places its baggage at about FS 110.
  • Cargo areas A, B and C (arms 33, 67, 96 to area centers) apply only with seats removed; max cargo is limited by tiedowns and floor loading 200 lb/sq ft.
  • Optional cargo pack (FS 10 to 84) max 300 lb; its arm depends on the load location (Figures 6-5/6-6).
  • Typical empty arm is computed from the sample loading problem: 76.6 / 2210 × 1000 = 34.66 in. Use your own airplane's basic empty weight and arm.
  • Read from the POH by ZuluCheck and checked by a second reading; verify against your own manual.
