Data source

POH Section II p.2-10 (CG limits, datum); Section VI pp.6-10 to 6-18 (seating/baggage arrangements, Moment Limits vs Weight, sample loading, useful load weights and moments); CASA Loading System 6.3 (VH-FIM) (pages 88-210 of a36-bonanza__poh__36-590002-19.pdf) · version type

  • Envelope vertices taken from the printed CG limits (fwd 74.0 in to 3100 lb, straight line to 81.0 in at 3600 lb; aft 87.7 in at all weights). The 2100 lb lower bound is the bottom of the moment chart, not a printed limit.
  • Airplane is certified in the utility category only; a single envelope is given.
  • Front seat arm: 75 (fwd position) to 79 (aft position) for E-1 thru E-631, and 75 to 82 for E-632 thru E-926. Serial E-434 uses 75–79. Forward positions are used here; intermediate positions need interpolation.
  • 3rd & 4th seats: standard forward-facing arm 115 (fwd) to 120 (aft). Club seating aft-facing: 111 to 115. 5th & 6th seats: arm 148 standard, 152 club seating.
  • Baggage maximums of 400 lb at FS 150, 200 lb cargo forward of the spar and 400 lb cargo aft of the spar come from the E-632 thru E-926 arrangement page. The equivalent page for E-1 thru E-631 was not provided. The arm 91 and arm 164 baggage tables stop at 100 lb, but no limit is printed for them.
  • Fuel: the table shows 74 USG usable (444 lb) at arm 75, and also lists 44 gal, possibly the standard tank option. Total tank capacity is not printed; check which tanks are installed. Density 6 lb/USG is derived from the table.
  • Oil (12 qt, 23 lb) is included in basic empty weight for E-364 thru E-926. The oil moment figures conflict (339 lb-in vs mom/100 of 6).
  • Typical empty weight is the SAMPLE basic empty condition (2231 lb, mom/100 1712), which does not reflect an actual airplane.
  • Sample ramp weight is 3612 lb, with 12 lb fuel for start, taxi and takeoff. No maximum ramp weight is printed.
  • CASA loading system for VH-FIM (E-434): MTOW 1633 kg; occupants assumed at 77 kg; with six occupants, no baggage and a maximum of 142 kg on row 3; the baggage limit varies with the number of occupants.
  • Read from the POH by ZuluCheck and checked by a second reading; verify against your own manual.

For reference only. The aircraft’s approved flight manual and weighing report are the final authority.
