1. WHO WE ARE

2. WHAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
Your aircraft and tail numbers, custom checklists, flight sessions, clearance notes (ATIS, QNH, runway, squawk), times, landing counts and settings are stored only on your device. They are included in your own iCloud device backup if you use one. We have no server that receives them.
3. WHAT WE COLLECT
If analytics are on, the app sends anonymous, aggregate usage events: app opened; a checklist started, completed or abandoned (by checklist ID, never its content); emergency index opened; trial day; purchase started or completed; text-size range; and app language. We also receive crash reports to fix bugs.
We never collect tail numbers, custom checklist text, clearance data or your location.
On the App Store, this appears as "Data Not Linked to You": diagnostics and usage data.
4. LOCATION AND AUTO NIGHT
Automatic Night theme uses sunrise and sunset times for your aircraft's home field by default, which needs no location access. If you choose to use your current location instead, the calculation happens on your device and the location is never sent to us.
5. PURCHASES
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. We receive confirmation that a purchase is valid, never your name or payment details.
6. YOUR CHOICES
- Turn analytics off in Settings › Privacy.
- Export all your data as a file in Settings › Data.
- Delete all your data in Settings › Data, or by deleting the app.
7. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal data. Because we hold no data linked to you, most requests are fulfilled by the controls above. You can still contact us at any time, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.
8. RETENTION
Anonymous analytics and crash reports are kept for [RETENTION PERIOD] and then deleted or kept only in aggregate.
9. WEBSITE
This website uses no advertising or cross-site trackers. If you leave your email for the Android launch, we use it only to send that one announcement, then delete it.
10. CHANGES
If we change this policy materially, we will update the date above and tell you in the app. The English version prevails over translations.
